A Brief History of Professional Golfcar Corporation
Our Beginnings
Solid as a rock. These words could be used to describe Professional Golfcar Corporation which began as the Bloomington Limestone Company. You might ask how did we make the transition from limestone to golf cars? The original corporation was a pioneer quarrier of limestone in the 1930s. As the demand for limestone decreased in the 1960s, the company was faced with the dilemma of finding another product to sell.
Golf was gaining in popularity and the demand for distributors to sell and service golf cars was increasing. The Bloomington Limestone Company was granted the exclusive authorized distributor territory for E-Z-GO Textron products in 1971. In 1981, as golf car sales represented an ever-increasing portion of the company's business, the Board of Directors elected to change the company's name to Professional Golfcar Corporation. We've been the choice for golf cars for sale in Indiana ever since.
Into the 21st Century
Professional Golfcar Corporation is the oldest continuous award winning golf car dealer for the E-Z-GO Division of Textron. As we start the 21st century, the Corporation is "solid as a rock" with longevity, integrity and market acceptance to ensure continued outstanding service to its customers.
We are Indiana's premier golf car dealership. We also, lease and rent golf cars through our Special Events/Tournament Lease department. And we maintain an extensive parts inventory with over-night shipping capabilities. In short, we are the single source for all Indiana's golf car requirements.

- We maintain a complete parts inventory with a total inventory value exceeding $500,000.00.
- Two service vans to provide the most prompt road service available to individuals and business operations in Indiana.
- Two semi-tractors with (2) 28-car trailers for hauling special event/tournament fleets and transporting customers new and used car purchases.
- Eight trailers from 1 car capacity to 10 car capacity to aid in the efficiency and rapid response of transporting cars in need of in-house repair and special event/tournament fleets.
- Six factory trained technicians to quickly respond to repair problems when they arise and reduce down time to a minimum.
Today's PGC
In August 2014, Professional Golfcar Corporation moved from its Bloomington location, having been located at 2370 West Fullerton Pike at SR 37 since 1978, to 255 Robert Curry Dr., Martinsville, IN.
The construction of Interstate 69, from southern Indiana through Bloomington to Indianapolis, resulted in the Bloomington property being taken by the State to allow for an interchange to be located at Fullerton Pike and I-69. Although the move was disruptive and difficult, the new location will allow for more efficiencies and better exposure for the business. We look forward to continued growth in serving our customers in the future.
